Transição agroecológica e inovação socioterritorial
Abstract
A transição agroecológica dos sistemas de produção é um processo complexo que envolve mudanças técnicas e sociais. Tomando como exemplo a Borborema, no Agreste da Paraíba, analisa-se a trajetória de transição agroecológica a partir das teorias da inovação social e territorial. A transição tem levado a uma mudança social para satisfazer às necessidades básicas das pessoas mais vulneráveis. Processos de aprendizagem, transformações das relações sociais, fortalecimento das redes sociais e mudança das condições de governança do desenvolvimento foram importantes para promover a integração social e política dos camponeses. As inovações técnicas, sociais e institucionais estão enraizadas no território, entendido como um espaço de institucionalização dos processos de transição agroecológica.
