In this article, we intend to revisit Graciliano Ramos (1892-1953), observing two questions raised by Ieda Lebensztayn in Graciliano Ramos e a Novidade. O astrônomo do inferno e os meninos impossíveis (2010) and João Paulo Lima e Silva Filho in Graciliano Ramos: Estudos de sociologias implícitas (1925-1953) (2010). It treats the connection between historical context, historical-literary context, literature and social reality, literature and society, literature and documents, literature and social sciences, in the sense of the interpretative possibilities of the relationship between history / social sciences / literature, taking Graciliano Ramos as a reference, that we will look at this article.
Keywords: Graciliano Ramos; literature; history; social sciences.
