This article aims to describe the dynamics of community associativity and local rural entrepreneurship policies based on the experience of three associations of the village of Tribunas Córcega in the municipality of Pereira, Colombia for the year 2018. Methodologically, a timeline and a survey of open-ended questions to association leaders were applied. By way of results, diverse associative processes are evident, as well as the execution of policies for rural entrepreneurship in the territory. However, the associations face great internal and external weaknesses that limit their enterprises. At the end it is concluded that there is a multifunctionality consistent with the organizational forms adopted by the communities. In contrast, there is evidence of low access to municipal policies of entrepreneurship and, therefore, some potentials that need to be developed.
