The following work proposes to address the study of the conflicts that developed in the horticultural sector of La Plata towards the middle and end of the 90s and today. The research is based on the methodology of comparativestudies, from which both similarities and differences between two or more historical-social processes are sought. In this case, variables linked to the economic and political conjuncture, to production, to the social subjects involved in it, as well as tothe horticultural structure, will be compared. Variables linked to conflict will also be contrasted: who are the different subjects in the confrontation, what are the other objects of attack, what do they demand, what methods do they adopt, who wins and who loses. Finally, it addresses what historical, social and economic territoriality is configured as a result of the confrontations. We advance here that as a product of the crisis that occurred in the 1990s, the La Plata horticultural territory was reconfigured as a consequence of a national ethnic replacement among social subjects, as well as the functions that old and new horticulturists fulfill in the horticultural social structure. However, the similarities of the complaints and the ways of resolving them do not cease to surprise despite the changes that have taken place.
