Territorialidades, ruralidades e assimetrias de poder na Comunidade de Taquari
Abstract
Este artigo é um estudo das identidades sociais na Comunidade de Taquari, município de Paraty, em suas expressões no rural e no território. A postura analítica articula o tripé território-assentamento-natureza em suas relações contemporâneas e dá importância à compreensão socio-histórica da ambiência social mais ampla na qual se dão os processos de territorialização analisados. O Incra, o Ibama e a Prefeitura representam as forças hegemônicas da sociedade abrangente e do Estado, poderes assimétricos quando confrontados com os da comunidade. O dinamismo à lógica da vivência cotidiana da comunidade estão longe de uma sociabilidade tradicional com valores rígidos. As aberturas ao outro, à cidade, resultam em vivências abertas aos novos possíveis e a hibridações de valores diversos. A territorialidade e a identidade rural da Comunidade de Taquari são construídas pelas tensões de uma dada ambiência hegemônica de preservação do patrimônio cultural e do ecossistema. Apesar desta hegemonia, as forças locais não se mostraram submissas, expressando seus interesses e carregando possibilidades de mudança.Downloads
